The Oklahoma City Thunder were down 14 at the half last night…….but they came out in the second half and sent the Warriors a big time message! The Thunder outscored the Warriors 61-42 in the second half last night and 23-14 in the 4th quarter to pull away for a HUGE road win last night in Oakland! The Thunder refused to change their style to combat what the Warriors were doing, as they played big and that resulted in them out-rebounding the Warriors 52-44! The Thunder only played 8 players in last night’s game. Russell Westbrook only shot 7 of 21 from the floor, but he took over the game in the second half. He led the way for the Thunder with 27 points, 6 rebounds, 12 assists and 7 steals! Kevin Durant also had a rough shooting night as he was only 10 of 30 shooting from the floor, but he still finished up with 26 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and 1 blocked shot last night! Steven Adams (16 points, 12 rebounds and 2 blocked shots in 37 minutes) and Serge Ibaka (11 points, 11 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 blocked shot in 36 minutes on the floor) owned the glass last night for the Thunder. Dion Waiters (10 points, 1 rebound and 4 assists in 30 minutes) and Enes Kanter (8 points, 6 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot in 18 minutes) both were crucial off the bench for the Thunder last night! The Thunder are now up 1-0 in this series!
