51-year old head coach Billy Donovan had a pretty good rookie year running the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2015-16. He led them to a 55-27 (67.1%) regular season record in 2015-16, which was good enough to earn the #3 seed in the playoffs in the Western Conference. Donovan led the Thunder to wins in five games over the Dallas Mavericks and in six games over the San Antonio Spurs. The Thunder then raced out to a 3-1 lead on the defending NBA Champions before falling in seven games to them in the Western Conference Finals. Donovan was 11-7 (61.1%) as a rookie head coach in the playoffs. He is definitely the right guy for the job in OKC!
