The Thunder have re-signed 38-year old point guard Derek Fisher to a 1-year deal. Fisher played in 33 games (9 starts) for the Mavericks and Thunder last year and he averaged 17.4 minutes, 5.3 points, 1.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game. Fisher only shot 34.2% from the floor and 37.5% from three point range last year, which was not good. Fisher has now played in 44 games (0 starts) in his first two years with the Thunder and he is averaging 17.1 minutes, 4.5 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game. He has now played in 1,206 games (731 starts) in his first 17 years in the NBA and he is averaging 25.9 minutes, 8.5 points, 2.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.1 steals per game. Fisher doesn’t have much left in the gas tank.
